Chris Darby, Firefighters Wanted promotional winner! Huntington, WV

I grew up in a small town 20 miles south of the city I serve now. Coming from a small town setting, I was raised in a volunteer fire household; both my parents served 20+ years in total in fire and EMS so it’s all I knew growing up. I knew at a very young age I wanted to be a professional firefighter and eventually that lifelong dream came true.

 

I have now served the City of Huntington for nearly 3 years, on top of the almost 9 years I served as a volunteer prior to making the change to go career. I have only recently been a member of the Leatherhead Tools family but, since the purchase of my tool, it goes where I go; Station to station, truck to truck. I’ve put it to some of its limits already in the short amount of time I have owned it but, it’s held strong and is always my go-to tool coming off any truck.
